Winterisation
Our Winterisation service is for licensed bars that shut down for more than 4 weeks at a time including sports stadia, holiday parks, and outside bars.
If you’d like to talk to us about a seasonal or temporary shutdown, give us a call on 01638 563237 or click below to send a message via the website.
Shutdown properly to avoid beer problems later
A common cause of nasty, off flavours in beer is the practice of leaving beer lines out of action for long periods of time.
Leaving your beer lines in water, for example, can lead to a ‘water taint’ which makes beer taste and smell musty and damp.

What does the Winterisation service include?
Full system deep clean
This is the same deep clean that we deliver for the Avani SOS service and ensures your dispense system is in the best possible shape before temporary shutdown.
Professional preparation
Professional preparation of the system for temporary shutdown.
Technical fault-finding
In cleaning and preparing your system for winter, your Beer Quality Technician will also identify and report on any equipment-related faults that they encounter. You can view the findings on your visit report, available via our Innsights© Dashboard.
Dispense system monitoring
For systems requiring longer periods of winterisation Avani will visit periodically to facilitate the winterisation process.
Re-opening system for the new season
When it’s time to get your dispense system ready for re-opening Avani will run a complete diagnostic of the dispense system, in readiness for serving.
