The LTC Jogle Pub run
We are proud to be a founding partner of the Licensed Trade Charity’s latest fundraiser, The LTC JOGLE pub run
As the name suggests, it’s a John O’Groats to Lands End run, with runners covering some 900 miles over 30 days. It starts on 13th July, up in Scotland and will finish on the 12th August in Cornwall.
Over the course of the month there will be a selection of community days where you can join in the fun and run, you can also run the route (or part of it) virtually via Strava and of course you can help out massively by simply donating – Find out more below.
Clock up the miles virtually
Take on the LTC Jogle Pub Run virtually. Join the Strava Challenge & log your miles throughout the campaign – your miles will contribute to the total distance covered.
How it works
1. Download the Strava app: Find and join the LTC Jogle Pub Run Strava Club to keep updated.
2. Join the Strava challenge: The Strava challenge will be available from the 6th July. Once live you can log any miles you’ve ran throughout the campaign, contributing to the total distance covered.
3. Get Fundraising: You can help raise funds by sharing the Avani Just giving page, with friends, family and colleagues or by making a donation yourself.
Join a community day
As the LTC JOGLE Pub Run journeys from John o’ Groats to Land’s End, Avani and the LTC are hosting a series of Community Days where you can run the route alongside the elite runners.
Joining a Community Day’s represent a chance to run alongside Avani staff whist joining other hospitality professionals in a day of fundraising, fun and of course celebrating the incredible role pubs play in our communities.

The event is for everyone, if you aren’t able to run at a community day or virtually on Strava your can still make a massive difference by donating – please consider supporting the event by donating via the Avani Jogle just giving page.
The LTC (Licensed Trade Charity) was founded in 1793, with the sole purpose of providing support to those in need from the licensed hospitality sector.
Today it supports bartenders to brewers, servers to sous chefs – anyone working in pubs, bars or breweries across the UK, with much needed wellbeing & financial support and practical advice.
